A few romantic tales are written by the sea. When Vibhuti and Parshav started to create images of their dream wedding, they wanted a feeling of holiday with all those people closest to them: warm, joyful, with a splash of colour and their favourite traditions. The rich beaches and palm trees and relaxed pace of the island of Phuket were the ideal setting, and Kreative Events was delighted to realise their dream.
A Place to Call Home
Guests made their way to the beaches, very musically sound of beach waves and pungent tropical blossoms. The minute the couple announced the weekend, their guests knew they wanted to get up close and personal with nature, to relax and enjoy themselves.
The Haldi: A Splash of Marigold Delight
The highlight of the day was the haldi, where the bridal party was clad in all hues of yellow. Vibhuti's head-to-toe orange marigold lehenga with fine gold embellishment matched Parshav's kurta to complete the couple's side of sunshine.
Florals, Arches and Island Love
Our décor was inspired to sit harmoniously within, rather than overtake, the surrounds of Phuket, and we chose to feature a sculptural rustic-metal arch, festooned with gently flowing wisteria-like blush-white florals and greenery, against a backdrop of palms.
An Evening of Colour & Glamour
As the sun set, the mood changed from fun to magical. Bathed in deep, artistic light, Vibhuti dazzled in a jewel-like outfit complemented by gilded, intricate jewellery and a delicate maang tikka, while Parshav was sophisticated in a black slinky beaded ensemble.
